The Michilimacinac Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, was organized February 9, 1952, with Mrs. Daniel I. Elder of Farwel, MI, as the  Organizing Regent.  The Meeting was held in the parlors of the Congregational Church of Clare, MI.  The name of the Chapter was chosen as Michilimacinac, which is the name shown on maps as early as 1801 and included all of the territory north of a diagonal line from Saginaw Bay to the Grand River.

Our Chapter has monthly meetings except in January, July, and December.  We vary the meeting time and places to accommodate the busy schedules of our members and prospective members.  Each regular meeting includes devotions, patriotic exercise, the  President General's Message (Current DAR magazine)  and a five minute National Defense Report.  Click here to see our meeting schedule.
